...and the results were funny enough to be worthy of sharing on the Internets. I’m still laughing. She’s still recovering.

Hahahaha, that was awesome! It’s awesome your mom was a good sport and rode along! Now I need a camera and to get my mom in the car for RallyX she’d 100% freak out

I took my mom along for a ride at Road America, but she refused to let me put a camera on her. I imagine it was similar. She did sit on her hands, and I gave her strict instructions to leave both feet on the floor to help with bracing herself, so no stomping on an imaginary brake.

You don't happen to live in Texas, do you? I can't remember. Your mom looks familiar (no, this isn't me being a smartass, or perverted).

I’ve never understood why you’d want to close your eyes in a moving vehicle. Don’t you want to know what you’re about to hit, so you can prepare for it?

Indeed!

I dunno. Maybe it’s better to not know! Like those drunk people who don’t injure themselves because they don’t tense up when they do something dumb, lol.

I just want to say that I approve of and am really impressed by your ability to look where you want to go. Seriously.

You are correct, except when it’s not. Most people look right where their car is going, and that ends up being right where their car goes. Like, into the curb or into the other car or into that pedestrian. It took a lot of track time for me to get comfortable with looking ahead that far, it’s hard, and you do it well. Just saying, I’m impressed.

Took my mom for a ride along in the auto x car once, she got motion sickness and never ever wanted to do it again.
